Every year, Texas Veterans Legal Aid Week offers the opportunity for legal aid programs, bar associations, law schools, and more, to amplify awareness of civil legal aid available to veterans. This year, LSLA is excited to announce that it is part of the Texas Veterans Legal Coalition working with several other legal aid programs throughout the state to create educational videos that will be published and advertised through TexasLawHelp.org. The videos will be produced by Briefly Studios. Briefly’s videos help explain complex legal and financial issues using short and engaging content. You can find out more about their work here: https://www.brieflystudios.com/briefly-reel-page.
In addition to its statewide efforts, LSLA will also be hosting a week of live presentations by our Military and Veterans Unit advocates. Tune in to our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/lonestarlegalaid to watch.
